BRUSHY ISLAND

Terms of use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to the Brushy Island app, made by [Stefan Small] ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you have any questions, email stefansmall220789@gmail.com.

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app. If these terms and Apple's agreement disagree, these terms apply (except where Apple's agreement says otherwise).

For families, set up by a grown-up

A fun brushing aid, not dental advice

Brushy Island is designed to make toothbrushing more fun and to encourage good habits. It is not medical or dental advice, and it doesn't check how well teeth are cleaned. The camera can sometimes get the brushing side wrong.

Please follow the advice of your dentist or health visitor, and keep up regular dental check-ups. If you have any concerns about your child's teeth or gums, speak to a dentist.

Using the app

Your privacy

The camera is only used live on your phone and nothing is sent to us. See our privacy policy for the full details.

Our responsibility to you

If you live in the UK, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty or not as described. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Citizens Advice can tell you more about them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We'll update this page and the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we'll mention it in the app's update notes on the App Store.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. [CHECK]
